Women in Business International
was established in 1997 by Ahmed Suleiman as part of a UK Government initiative
to encourage trade between the UK and the developing economies of the
Middle East. The WiB project has grown to provide an international platform
for business women from across the world to share and learn. WiB has expanded
its activities annually and is not confining itself to its base in London,
with conferences across the Middle East, South Africa and Europe WiB is
now truly a global family. In 2006 Women in Business was formerly registered
as trade mark within the European Community
The Organisation:
Women in Business is a not-for profit company and all donations and profits
are subject to audit, the day to day running of the organisation as well
as its aims and objectives are driven by a committed team of volunteers
across the world.
The international Conferences and Forums are managed by a Steering Committee
made up of all sponsors and volunteers providing transparency and accountability
to the entire project.
Women in Business consists of a Management Board
